During the course of Sue's extensive career in town planning in both the public and private sectors she has developed a detailed and expert knowledge of the planning system.  She has nearly 30 years’ experience as a planning practitioner in local government and 12 years in the development industry.  She was formerly Head of Planning for six years in a large Borough Council and has a proven track record in successfully managing the department through a difficult period of change and transformation.  

 

In the private sector she worked in the highly competitive and commercial environment of the major house builders and developed an acute awareness of the commercial imperative whilst maintaining her personal and professional integrity. She has unparalleled experience of developing and implementing development and regeneration projects and a proven track record of  working in partnership and in a multi-agency and disciplinary environment in both the public and private sectors.

 

Her experience gives her a unique insight into the planning process.

 

Based in Leicestershire, Sue offers a specialist planning consultancy, operating primarily in the Midlands, tailored to the requirements of individual clients with access to a full range of related professional services, including urban design.
